I have LiveYes 1.0.0 SW for Windows, and I have SD cards in my LiveYes cameras. Using LiveYes SW for Windows I can download past recordings to my PC. But when I do this, I can only see the images, but no sound... I have all the audio encoders in My PC (With windows 11), and cannot download video with sound. And if I try to watch early recordings, I can hear sound normally, but in download options there's only video, without audio... I've saw that theres a 2.0.2 version of LiveYes SW for Windows, but I can't find it to download. How can I fix this and download recorded videos with sound? Regards

Answer by Rajesh Gupta

It seems like there is an issue with the software version you are using, LiveYes 1.0.0 for Windows, which might not support downloading videos with audio. Here are a few steps you could try:

  1. Check Settings: Ensure that the audio settings in LiveYes are properly configured. Verify if audio recording is enabled in your camera's settings.

  2. Update the Software: Trying to update to the latest software version might resolve the issue. If there's a version 2.0.2 available, it should be on the official website or through official channels. If you cannot find it, contacting LiveYes support might help you get access to the update or additional assistance.

  3. Codec Issues: Although you mentioned that you have all audio encoders, it might still be worthwhile trying a codec pack like K-Lite to ensure compatibility.

  4. Alternative Tools: As a workaround, you can use third-party video editing software, like VLC Media Player, to convert the downloaded files and check if audio can be extracted or played.

  5. Contact Support: If none of the above solutions work, it might be best to reach out to LiveYes customer support for more detailed troubleshooting. They may offer a direct download for a newer software version or provide other solutions for your issue.

Camera was working fine until recently. It doesn't connect to WiFi anymore, I tried factory reset it didn't work. It works fine on the cable but I need it on WiFi. Also when I try to setup WiFi through the app there is no sound for pairing. What can I do?

Answer by Pooja Bajaj

It seems that there may be an issue with the camera's WiFi connectivity. Since the factory reset did not resolve the problem, you can try the following steps:

  1. Make sure your camera and WiFi router are in close proximity.
  2. Check if other devices are able to connect to the WiFi network successfully.
  3. Power cycle both your camera and WiFi router by turning them off, waiting for a few seconds, and then turning them back on.
  4. Reset your WiFi router's settings and try connecting the camera again.
  5. Ensure that you are entering the correct WiFi password during setup.
  6. If the issue persists, you may need to contact the manufacturer's support for further assistance or consider getting a professional technician to look into the camera's WiFi connectivity.
